I do lightscribe for the disc and I print out DVD covers with undercoverxp, and I bought 100 white dvd cases on ebay for like $12

nice flash-based demo that shows some good lightscribed discs

the "label side" surface of lightscribe dvd's are kind of brass or sepia coloured, and it works best with black/white photos. however, you can use coloured images as a source and they still look pretty darn nice when it's done.

one note:
burning a disc .iso = ~4mins at 16x
burning the lightscribe image on the other side of the disc = ~30-40mins

I like it because when I make a backup so my son doesn't ruin the originals, they at least look like real games. But the discs are too expensive. ~1 each unless I find a sale locally

Of course, to make it look really good, you don't burn it once, you double or triple burn it

Yeah, I saw that now I gotta go buy a new printer.

On the plus side, the discs seem cheaper. And my printer is nearly 9 years old now anyhow.

And yeah, I'll probably get a new printer for $109 versus buying $70 in ink for my 9 year old printer that's alot worse quality and feature wise =D

Was initially put off by scary stories about epsons and them being thirsty beasts but ive printed over 50 dvds now and im still on my free carts that were included!

Although I'll probably get an epson color printer someday, since I only have a B&W laser printer. convenient to print photos and cd/dvd labels I bet.

$26 is overpriced too. I pay .13 a piece for them, and "yes", they are the official wii cases.
