Hacking How do you know if partial NAND emulation is working?

i have been messing around with nand emulating on vwii and have successfully got Uneek +di to work. What I am wondering is how do I know if using the same NAND with USB Loader GX in partial if it is using the Emu NAND or nit.

I have downloaded DLC to the EMU NAND and can see it in UNEEK, but when I boot in USB Loader GX the DLC is not there. I have pointed the path to the NAND on USB.

Update:
USB Loader did not recognize the HDD because of D2X alt. After loading D2x partial emulation is working.
