Hacking How do you edit the cheat file without a computer?

I have a r4 3ds and i would like to be able to add/edit cheat codes without the use of my computer. is there a nds file that can do that or am i stuck with needing a computer just to edit my cheats?

Oh and my cheat file is usercheat.dat if that would have anything to do with anything. XD

id recomend http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/applications/download-dslinux-10-f27981.html . adds linux to the ds so you can basicaly do anything your normal computer could in terms of file editing.

Alright thanks, but what program would i use then? I don't use linux often so i dont know of the normal cheat editors for that.

That wont help. The only usrcheat.dat editors I've found are closed source and windows only.

Well, what if you run wine?
In theory if it was still a functioning linux os, then it shouldnt have a problem with wine.

Update: well running linux didn't work. Couldn't even get past the starting Black screen. So wine is a no go. XD
