You can use an Action Replay or Rein/ReinMoon.

Here's a short, poorly written guide I found with google:

1. put REIN on your microsd that goes into the m3 lite with gamemanager.
2. turn on ds, run rein from m3 lite(must press start instead of A).
3. click ds sav->sav file.
4. take out simply/passme.
5. insert original game.
6. press A... wait...###100%!(you probably won't notice the wait)
7. the .sav should now be on your microsd.(it's "a wierd filename".sav)
8. clicking/tapping the m3 manager let's you inject the .sav into a .dat you have for the backup.
-a. you will not be able to use the .sav on your m3 in the raw .sav format. so inject it to the .dat now by clicking/tapping the option.
-b. it can be converted for use with the simply by transforming it into a .sav file with the simply's save transformer (make sure the save name is exactly the same; ex. XblahZ.nds, XblahZ.sav).
-c. you may want to keep the "raw" .sav just in case...
note: max2sc.exe(gooooooogle...) turns armax save files into supercard save files. the supercard files can be transformed [with the simply's save transformer] into simply .sav files. this is helpful if you get saves from http://gamefaqs.com and such.

Basically it tells you to put Rein on your slot-2 flashcart, run it, select the option of backing up your DS save, taking out your nopass and then pressing A. You should have the raw .sav on your cart, which you can use with your backup device by converting it.

To dump a save file you can also try ETools. You'll need a slot 2 flash cart and the original game in slot 1. Go to http://nds.cmamod.com/download.html and download one of the ETool files. If your dumping Castlevania POR, you'll need the one that will dump a 512Kb EEPROM save. I'd suggest EToolSMS 2.1. Flash EtoolSMS to your slot 2 flash cart and run. Ihaven't used this in a whie so can't remember the interface but it should be straight forward.
The program will dump the save on the slot 2 flash cart. Then just transfer it over to you slot1/slot2 flash cart and there you have it!

NB Sometimes you have to play about with the save file first to get it to work. There aren't many tutorials about that I'm aware of.
Methods also change depending on what flash cart you use.

Anyway give this a go and see what happens - if it doesn't, let us know what flash cart you use and I'll have a play about to get it to work.

i tried the rein it works flawless, i tried it with 3 games:
castlevania POR
New Super Mario Bro
mariokart DS

back and fort(dumping and puting back a new saves). even if the save
is not in proper size, rein will still restore it back into the original cart

but i have a problem though, how do u make rein work for supercard miniSD.
i used my m3CF for this, but i think going to retire the contacs are not that good
anymore, like every time i put in my NDS it doesnt read it(i have to wiggle it a
little bit to work).

anyone tried rein for supercard miniSD?

What cart do you use? I have a SuperCard Lite build at home since the others weren't working :/

I suggest using eepinator if rein doesn't work for you, it's DLDI compatible and easy to use.

rein does work for sc mini you just need to get a different version. At least back a long while ago there was one for SC sd and one for SC cf
you can try this version don't know if it will work for sc mini it is rein 17

I have a version rein v6 that I use for my SC sd so i'm assuming it would probably work on SC mini so if the one in the link above doesn't work send me a pm and I will upload it to you.

I'm gonna be buying one of the versions, and which one rides on whether or not I can get my save file from the Diamond ROM I have on my G6 Lite to the legit cart...

If anyone knows, has tried it etc. etc....
