Hacking how do i update?

I know this question has been asked so many times and i'm sorry guys, i know its getting annoying but i have
cIOSCORP v3.6 installed with cIOS55-v5149-v3.6-rev14_DIP.wad in 4.2. when i try to run wii sports resort on the disk channel, it asks for an update. what should i do?(and yes i have used the search button but i couldn't find anything) again sorry for the frequently and noobish question.

If you have Preloader/Priiloader, disable disc updates.

As far as I know WSR has the 4.1 update, but yea Priiloader should stop it from prompting you to update.

i have priiloader 0.1. how do i disable disk updates?

update: i just updated my priiloader to 0.2. i sitll cant find how to disable disk updates?

Hold the reset button while you're powering the Wii on to access Priiloader. You may also need the proper hacks.ini file on your sd card for whatever region your Wii is, to be able to disable disk updates. There's also a newer version of Priiloader.

no i could access priiloader but i dont have the files. could u please give the link to the newest priiloader and hack.ini files. o and sorry im in the usa.

There you go. Copy and paste the code from your corresponding region into a text editor like Notepad then save it as hacks.ini on the root of your SD card.

umm I have a similar question: I'm on 4.0 and I want to update so I don't need to watch the instructional video of WSR everytime. Is Waninkoko updater a good idea? Does it clean boot2 as nintendo updates? Do I have to install cIOSCORP again?

Your question is hardly similar all. The only similarities are that they both have to do with Wii hacking. I won't actually answer your question because you blatantly hijacked the thread which I don't approve of.

Use a media player. You can't actually start DVDs from the Disc Channel which is a shame. I recommend MPlayer-CE as would a lot of others.
