Homebrew How do i start homebrew with 1.4.5E console?

Title says it.
I have no clue. I have visited several dsi guides but they confuse me. Some say its USA only, some for every region and some say i have to hardmod my console.
How do i start on my console from Europe? Im clueless .

I tried to follow this guide until: "Go to System Settings > Data Management > Flipnote Studio (if you copy another DSiWare title, note that the .bin name will differ) > Copy > Yes and then exit to the DSi Menu"
It shows only the DSI Browser and not Flipnote Studio...

EDIT: i looked further into the guide and it says:

"You MUST have the Flipnote Studio app on your DSi in order for this to work. Your console must also be a USA region console, due to the limitations of the Flipnote exploit. If your console is a USA region console, its system version should end with the letter "U"."

you can run homebrew with:

• A flashcart
• Haxxstation
• using a cartridge exploit (for example The Biggest Loser exploit) and installing dslink
• a dsiware exploit (ugopwn, sudokuhax, etc.)
• a hardmod

Custom firmware works for US consoles only if you don't want to hardmod and don't have a previous exploit installed.

your best bet is hardmod that or waiting for exploits which new exploits getting released is very rare

yes it is possible to buy a usa dsi from the internet.

i never purchased a flash cart. i was going to untill seedminer came out for the 3ds so i did not buy one and bought sudoku for the 3ds insted then used seedminer to install B9S and get cfw.
