This is easily one of the greatest ports on the switch. If this was an official release The Switch would have sold more than the PS2 (and would have been the number 1 selling console of all time). Nintendo should have begged Rock* for this in 2017.

The Switch DID outsell the PS2, unless you believe the creative accounting that came from Sony several times many years after they sold their last PS2. Nintendo begs for nothing, and a half-assed port of GTA5 would not have made any difference whatsoever to sales of the Switch, which is the best selling of all-time without GTA5. #realityCheck

With the right amount of hype you can sell any thing, including a half-assed ports. Many Millions Sony owners kept away from buying a Switch because they did not think it was powerful enough. A half assed port now from AI slop hackers proves otherwise. A Rock* GTA5 on switch would have persuaded them otherwise, IMHO. Your opinion may differ and that's valid too.

That thing is actually pretty close to being playable with 1963 MHz cpu in handheld.

Only issue is driving in the city during day, could use few more fps there. Way better with potato graphics, but no way I am playing with that or current drops below 20 when driving.

Definitely impressive port, hope they will get some more work done on optimization before going to prison. :D

Too bad changing the resolution in the settings.xml (it is inside your save data, access and edit it via DBI's built-in text editor), does nothing (it will be ignored and the game will continue to run at 720p).

Reducing LODs, render distance, NPC + vehicle density and other stuff doesn't give much of a performance bump either.

It does give the place a "nice" ghost town look tho...

Overall, the port reminds me of playing Watch Dogs on Wii U (if you know you know).

Put it in your saveFS system, your gamesave files. You may use DBI or JKSV for that if you would wish.
thank you very much. tried the lowest setting option. the graphics is lso so but it can run 26 to 30fps while driving in the city
