hello everyone, I have a modified psp, today I was changing the gameboot with one found from the psx containing gameboot and also opening_plugin.rco, after putting it I didn't like it and I replaced it with another one that only had gameboot.pmf, however the .rco I downloaded earlier had a much longer gameboot time, so the gameboot of now loops 5-6 times, does anyone know which voice I need to edit with the arc editor? I have to reduce the gameboot time to keep it from looping (sorry for the english i'm italian)

I'm not sure on the psp, but I think I know how to on the ps3. it's in the xml file (the main one) of the rco (custom_render.rco). it may be similar on the psp where time is built on milliseconds.

Non sono sicuro sulla psp, ma penso di sapere come fare sulla ps3. è nel file xml (quello principale) di rco (custom_render.rco). potrebbe essere simile sulla psp dove il tempo è costruito in millisecondi.
exact is in milliseconds but there are too many strings, I don't know which one contains the gameboots time

can't help really. I thought that information above might be helpful. there aren't very many strings for the gameboot on the ps3 iirc. you may have to play around with it. it's unlikely to brick the system if you mess it up, since there's a recovery menu.

I don't even find the download of the original file, so as to replace it or at least compare the data to verify, there are about 22-23 blocks of strings with 4 strings inside (I don't know if I mean) all the links are before 6.61 or down

ok i solved it with a program that decrypts the psp firmware, so i replaced the firmware files with the modified ones

RCO Editor

1: Run RCOEdit.exe
2: Select the [Open RCO...] tab
3: Locate the opening_plugin.rco inside the RCO folder, and select [Open]
4: Select the [Anim Data] tab
5: Scroll down and locate - anim_gameboot_movie @ 0x32BC
6: Below this heading, highlight the third:[0x907] Delay
7: Highlight the [1500] value, and select [Change]
8: This value is determined by the length of your gameboot, and is measured in milliseconds
1000 = 1 second, 6500 = 6.5 seconds and 17000 = 17 seconds
9: Once the value is entered, select [OK], which saves the new value and creates a backup of the original as opening_plugin.rco.bak
10: exit from program
