Hacking Hardware How do I run bootmii automatically when I power on wii?

Today I took my old wii out of the drawer for the first time in months. My wii is a brick (probably because I used any region changer the wrong way) Today I knew bootmii could be run automatically when I power on the console, but I couldn't figure out the exact way (all of them were questions about how to stop bootmii from running automatically) My wii is probably a full brick. I have a gc controller, but recovery mode does not run. I have a different Wii and nand backup, so if possible, I can extract the necessary files from another Wii. How do I have bootmii run automatically when I power on wii?

If you have bootmii installed as boot2, and this folder is detected while the wii is powering up, bootmii will load. Not all Wiis are capable of installing bootmii as boot2, only the really old consoles can. All consoles can install bootmii as IOS, which is nice, but only offers decent protection if combined with priiloader.

The only other way to make bootmii load at launch is if you have access to priiloader, then you would still need this folder, but you'd also need to hold reset while the wii is booting up, and then configure priiloader to autoboot to bootmii when the wii is starting up

both of these methods require that proper brick protection measures were taken prior to any screw ups.
