How do I rip models from .3ds file?

Hello! I have been stuck with ctrtools and I am genuinely confused on how to do this?! other command guides have been missed formatted. which confuses me like:

I noticed that "--intype" isn't a command within the "--help" list? what is "romfsdir?" is it the place were the extracted files go? WHAT IS romfs.bin?! and--decompressode isn't even in the list of commands for ctrools in the --help?!

Oh I forgot to update: I've managed to "extract the files" but the models are all in a ".bin" what does this mean? and how do convert them to their respected file format? Which I think was ".bch?" just want them to be veiwable for ohana3ds. (the game is "Senran Kagura - Shoujo-tachi no Shinei (Japan)")
