How do I extract saves from GBA VC games? Do I need a special program?

if jksm/jksv doesn't already do this, sdvt i know for sure does. i have saves for my pokemon red on my sd somewhere to inject and extract gen 1 machopicness fissures lol

Read this thread. I believe Hourglass9 also has the ability to dump/inject GBA VC saves.

If I recall, Hourglass9 should be able to under the [Miscellaneous...] section

Okay, dumped a save via Hourglass9. Can I transfer it to another 3ds via Hourglass9?

Put it in the files9 folder of the other 3DS' SD card, then go into Hourglass9 to inject the file.
