How do I configure steam controller for Visual Boy Advance?

All is in the title
there are button that doesnt seems to work on steam controller, or just arent recognized by the emulator

Hi, i've had the same problem on VBA-M, not on VBA, i've tryed configuring the steam controller through the launcher but it doesnt work, please tell me your method of doing it!
