I use a 1920x1080 resolution + a secondary 1024x768 screen. But when I play full screen games I'm forced to disable the secondary monitor and lower the resolution to the main one to 1280x720. Since I do it often, I was wondering if there is a way to make a random file full of commands to keep on the desktop and click whenever I want to do this, and click again to revert it back to my original setup. Any ideas?

You may want to check out nircmd. After some tweaking and testing, I managed to use it to change the default sound output device with two simple shortcuts (I could've gone for one shortcut, but it's easier this way).

Not really sure how to use it to change the monitor resolution, but this page may just give you the answer on a silver platter. :)
