So I did plenty of searching, mostly on Google, and couldn't find anything. I wonder if anyone knows how to replace the power LED on the GBA, and what my options are? I assume it's a dual color SMD LED, but don't have any idea where to get replacements, or anything. Anyone know anything about this?

The LEDs on the GBA AGB-001 are 2 separate SMD LEDs.

SMD parts come in strips with anywhere from 10 to 50 pieces or so. There is no way around it because they were made to feed a automatic assembler unit with rolls of whatever SMD part.

It is not particularly helpful but you can always giving your GBA a different color when the power is low.
These might or might not be a good replacement source off the bat: https://www.sparkfun.com/search/results?term=SMD LED&what=products
The alternative is to order from places like digikey or mouser, problem with them is not everything comes with a visual of the item so it might cost you more in the long run blindly ordering several different LEDs that might not even work.

The LEDs are polar, meaning if you put it in backwards your going to burn it out or worse.

You're awesome, thank you so much! :) I had the GBA apart for the backlight mod, but forgot to even look at the LEDs, and yeah, now I'm bored. This is perfect, though. I think I'll go with a blue LED to replace the green and leave red alone since it's sort of universal anyway.

Sparkfun is in the US, you should get the items relatively quick unless they are out of stock of an item.

Yes, I'm familiar with them, among others. The prices are a wee bit high, and I can wait if I need to, though. I will check them out when I get home to see if I can't figure out what size they are, and then order them.
