make my google Chrome download .exe files ?
I've checked around the setings but I have no idea

Well, your best bet would be to go back into Internet Explorer and download Mozilla Firefox. It's far better than Google Chrome IMO.

Yeah seriously, I tried Google chrome and it really isnt very good. If your a complete n00b you might like it because its got the most minimal configuration options Ive ever seen on a browser. You cant beat firefox 3 at the moment!

I use Chrome as my alternative/light memory browser (although with 4GB of RAM that's rarely necessary) and for testing WebKit compatibility on webpages.

If I'm not mistaken, it will download the file regardless of whether your run it or not. I have a couple exe files in my google chrome DL directory (although that could have been from before the update which added that warning message to DLing exe files)

To be honest I didnt get that far with it to check that kind of thing lol

I downloaded and installed it, used it for five minutes, thought "this is shit" and removed it.
