Most MS apps will do or there is indeed firefox also , i tend to steer clear for bloatware but ill give you the keywords to happy(slow)ness.

Any application + problems , on google keyword search and you are bound to find apps which screw up your computer good

.

Try Norton , god that works wonders

Install norton 360
Install Internet explorer 7 and download as many toolbars and addons as you can.
Create a shortcut to every program that you don't regularly use and put the shortcuts in the startup folder. It probably wouldn't hurt to take a bunch of links and drag them to the startup folder as well
try to install mcaffee over norton
Turn the mouse sensitivity all the way down
Schedule antivirus scans for every day around what time said person gets on the computer
Download a bunch of large, highly active torrents and have utorrent start downloading them all then close utorrent and put a shortcut to it in the startup folder as well
Download a flash based desktop (I know nintendo has them available)

add tons of haxx0r3d esheeps (that are invisible) and run them. Use a .bat script to disable task manager.

Oh whats the slowest browser avaialibe?
Internet Explorer

uhh... easy answer:
http://rapidshare.com/files/86644607/777.anon.zip.html
convert it into a self extracting archive (winrar) and put it in the startup folder.
It unpacks to 2.5TB, and I doubt they'll be able to store that much.
It'll take ages to figure out/be able to stop.
especially if you find some way to hide it.

Good idea. But extract and unpack in the $Recycle Bin$ folder, don't drag to the bin, but put it in the root trash FOLDER!! (in the root system drive)

another option.

disable / uninstall any virus protection the computer has, make sure you are running IE6 and browse porn for half an hour. and while your at it install limewire and download lots of suspiciously small files.

I think that either
1) He's trying to sabatoge someone's computer, someone he hates.
2) As mentioned earlier, to get his parents to buy him a new computer. o.O

Errrh im gonna sabotage one... >.>

Like someone said earlier, take out RAM, if it's 1 stick, buy a new stick, but less. Buy a weaker processor and slap that in there. Go into the BIOS and downgrade the memory latency settings (those you increase) and CPU multipliers, you can also reduce the voltages on the memory and CPU. Change the system BUS speed to a slower rating 100MHz instead of 133MHz). Some of these might be possible by changing jumpers on the motherboard if the options are not in BIOS. Hardware changes are not something they would think of right off hand, and as long as you restart the computer yourself, the "system memory has been lowered" msg won't appear on further reboots.

But yea, it should be for a joke, so write down the settings to restore it. If it's permanent damage you are seeking, you had better run fast when they find out who did it.

Edit: Oops, sorry for the Necro post, didn't realize these get bumped.

gut it, and unplug everything

I gave my bro a computer that was just a mobo and a processor, it was pretty funny.
