Im using a JP n3ds on 9.2 emunand, how can I play online multiplayer without getting a nintendo update to my 3ds?

iirc, you can update your emuNAND to 9.5, and then update nver to the latest version.

im not worried about the eshop at all actually, I just want to play games like Monster Hunter X online, without getting my 3ds updated. I know it doesn't auto update the system, but i'd rather not have the update downloaded at all on my 3ds. How about just blocking the 3ds updates with that DNS server thing, does that even still work now? But thanks for the response though!
