I've done some research and found that I have 2 ways to hack my NS, one is with the SX Xecuter and the other one is with atmosphere. I want to know the pro and cons of each one of them, and also the risks of hacking my nintendo switch. If anyone can answer me that would be great. Thanks

I have my nintendo swich with the update 7.0.0

P.D: Sorry for my bad english :P

If you use SX OS with an offline emuNAND and keep your sysNAND clean (never had homebrew or CFW ran on it) then you can still use your sysNAND for online safely at least for the time being (Nintendo might add checks in the future to detect emuNAND, or they might not)

First of all, sx os does not support 7.0.1 right now at least.

Use atmosphere. It’s open source and the Developers are well known. And sx os (at least the full version) costs money. Atmosphere is free. The risks of hacking a switch are: possible bricking if you don’t know what you’re doing, and banned from Nintendo’s online services. The pros are to many to count tbh.

@Bladexdsl "you basically only need to know 2 things: SX OS is plug and play Atmosphere is not"

That might be true for Atmosphere itself if you mean backup usage by "plug and play" but it's not for Kosmos which in fact is Atmosphère + Sigpatches so it does the same job SX OS does without having to pay for it.

However SX OS has some additional features like emuNAND, XCI mounting and USB support.
