Hi! so I bought this Wii from marketplace, and when i turned it on it just showed the preloader menu. What should i do?

I know that I need a hexadecimal editor, but what do I have to search exactly and to edit in the file ? And is the procedure the same for all games?

2y ago I hex edited all my Wii roms to remove the innate dithering filter (horizontal lines and dots). I forgot how to. Lol. Pls help.
