Hacking Homewbrew SD Adapter

I know it's old news, and it's been done before, but this is my first time making one. I took lots of pics.

How hard was it to make?

it wasn't too bad, the hardest part was finding materials, then the actual soldering, and then making room for the adapter. All in all, it wasn't too bad.

nice planing on making one like that but maybe with a sd card socket did you use a guide or do you have a digram of the connections i could follow.

I had to use some ingenuity, but http://ngc.scorpei.com/GUIDE-SD_adapter.html has it covered pretty well. just remember 11 = pin 1

thx just one more thing does this work that same as a sd gecko or is there some differences or limitations.

its detected as an sd gecko, so its good. only downside is it takes time to make!

This doesn't seem that difficult. I'd just have to find a Gamecube memory card and a SD card slot and I'd be set.

I have a micro sd card slot too...so I could just use that for kicks.

Just in case Wii homebrew doesn't get to using the Wii's SD card slot, it might be useful.

especially since the snes emulator just came out for the twilight hack exploit. play snes backups (of games you own) without having to re buy them through VC
