I would like to see the following things on the DSTWO:

1 - PSX Playstation emulator
2 - Dingux
3 - Sega Megadrive emulator (whit full screen scale ability)

Updated.

(Dingux counted towards "Awesomer Linux", and the MegaDrive's known as the Genesis in North America, so I counted it towards "Better Genesis Emulator")

I dont think that a PSX emulator would be possible, even on the DSTWO. I think that the PSX has "3D" graphics, while the DSTWO does not support that

Correct me if I'm wrong...

+1 to atari 2600, VirtualBoy and PCE/TG16.

BTW, how's the VB emu coding going, MFDC12 and/or Sop?

EDIT: seeing as Sop removed that post, I'm guessing he isn't coding it

Aanyway, how goes it MFDC12? XD

@personuser: The Dingoo does not have 3D hardware either. The PS1 did not have 3D hardware either, in fact it only had a 2D framebuffer and a coprocessor which you could use for the more complex 3D calculations (light sources, etc).

EDIT: The N64, though, is a different thing.

EDIT2: The DSTwo is essentially a Dingoo-on-a-chip, the SDK even uses some of the Dingoo library files and the CPU speed is quite similar. And there's Linux on top of the emulator on Dingoo.

There already are fullspeed 3D PS1 games running on the Dingoo, but there are very few of these (Exhumed). The more demanding games run at 10FPS or so.

IIRC the PSX didn't have any 3D engine and instead cleverly used a 2D engine...but this is only info that I almost remember someone telling me.

That's why it's possible. Granted, the current issues with data transfer speeds between the DSTWO and the DS would wreak havc on the speed, but hey, it would still work. There's a few insane peeps in this world that'll play through crash bandicoot at 5 fps if it's portable XD

And yes, PS1 is possible, but maybe limited. The N64 is a completely different story though.
So PS1 possible, N64 not possible, true ?
Well, maybe. The N64 has 3D hardware, and the PS1 doesn't. The DStwo also doesn't have 3D hardware, so it'd be easier for it to emulate the PS1 because it doesn't have to emulate any form of 3D hardware.

Ok, thanks.

EDIT: I have read the PSOne specifications and technically it should run at slow framerates, but it will work, and its what we are looking for:

xx78xx, I counted your post as a vote for the Dingux port. R4Liam, your "web browser" suggestion has been added as a separate request.

I would like to see a button remap for the GBA emu that would let you change the buttons to where y=B and b=A. This would make action games like Megaman, play much nicer.

Added your vote to "Better GBA emulator". But I thought they were already working on this, I guess not.

I can tell you now guys, not one of those internet related suggestions are ever going to happen. The DSTwo does not have access to the DS wifi at all. I'm not saying it's impossible to add wifi, just that SC didn't do it. So no browsers, not p2p clients, nothing like that can be done.
