Hey,

I was just wondering, does anyone know the best browser for the nintendo ds? The one's I have tried are:

Okiwi: Doesn't load any pages, gives server error (I guess the server went down and it won't work anymore).
Bunjalloo: Loads most if not all pages with decent accuracy with pictures, only problem is that it hangs sometimes.
DSHobro: I don't know if this is how it is supposed to work, but it takes pictures and is not really interactive with links and such, otherwise loads everything.
DSOrganize browser: text based only, and gives my only weird characters, not even any text.
DS Original Browser: Works fine, although requires RAM expansion, I don't have one, and would really like a RAM free solution.

So far, the best and only one seems to work is bunjalloo, is there any other browser, or is there a way to get any of the currently mentioned not working browsers working? Thanks in advance.

If you have a slot-2 RAM pack of some sort (Supercard, M3, EZ 3in1) there should be a way to run the Opera browser from a slot-1 flash cart.

The only ones missing from your list are the ones in DSLinux, though they are text-only and need slot-2 RAM to really function. There is a graphical version of the Links browser that works somewhat, and technically there is the browser in the Nano-X GUI but that's so slow that I'm putting it in the "unusable" category.

With slot-2 RAM, I'd suggest DSLinux "Links" or "Retawq" for text-only, and the official Opera browser if you want pictures. Without slot-2 RAM, Bunjalloo is your best bet.

Thank you both. It seems as if Bunjalloo is the way to go. Thank you Another World for the DSOrganize head's up. Also, thank you DanTheManMS for the additional slot 2 information and other browsers. Have a nice day.

Browsing the internet on a DS is a chore - the average Stone Age old phone does it a zillion times better, not to mention smartphones. I strongly suggest using a different device for this purpose, really.

Yeah, I completely agree, but it's just a little bit until I get another phone (old one broke). I just need something for basic use, so the DS will work until I get the phone.

In that case, if you don't have access to the official browser, go for Bunjalloo - it'll allow you to perform really, really basic browsing, but no fireworks.
