Homebrew Homebrew Launcher Suddenly slow?

So I turned my 3ds on after a while of not using it. Booted into emuNand from a9lh, and i launched the Yellowsn8 hb launcher cia, and for some reason it takes at least 30 seconds to boot into the homebrew launcher! and some apps inside it, like the latest FBI, dont even load. they just go to a black screen!

any ideas as how to get this back into tip top shape?
