Hacking Homebrew Launcher freezing?

I got the Homebrew launcher working on my Wii U, but whenever I try to launch an emulator (any emulator) it freezes and I have to restart the entire thing. The only thing that works is the homebrew app store. Any help?

What emulators are you trying, and what error does it give? Also, are you on the latest system firmware?

I was using MGBA and SNES9X 2010, and others.

5.5.1, no error screen. It just freezes ad the loading bar stopss just before it fills up.
