Hacking Homebrew going forward 2019+

I missed the WiiU generation and then bought a switch - but I couldn't help myself the other day and bought a Zelda edition WiiU.

Thing is I know the permanent eshop exploit window will be closed at the end of January when the shop closes.

A) Is there anyway I can buy for example brain age before this? Something you can buy to redeem on the shop, or anything like that?

B) Is there any news yet on anything else that will replace this exploit?

The original Wii Shop is closing at the end of January. Wii U content will remain on eShop for now.

I won’t have the wiiu until end of 1st week in Jan.

Do I need to buy the game directly on the wiiu, can I still even add funds to the eshop?
