Hey guys,

I setup homebrew and usb loader setup 9 years ago. Haven't played the games since then.

Today I blew the dust off the wii and HDD (it's the right port - i tried both), fired up USB Loader and it shot me this error message "Exception (DSI) Occurred. screenshot attached.

Then I checked homebrew and it came up with an empty black screen. The SD card is still in place.

There are no discs inside.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

1) Update your cIOS, I'd follow this guide
2) It would be good to update your Homebrew channel, it's been a long time since I've had to update mine, but I'm 95% sure it will prompt you to update once you launch it, and are connected to internet. If my memory is wrong, use one of these methods to update.
3)USB Loader GX needs an update, grab it here
4)Hard drive could need some tweaking, if it's formatted to WBFS (used to be the "best") I'd recommend switching to fat32, but update the 3 things above before messing with the drive.

Thanks for helping!

I'm running into some problems with updating the cIOS according to the instructions.

After setting up the configuration, I'm prompted to this next screen (as attached).

I tried to choose both the 249 slot (blinking red). It didn't work.

I tried 200 too since it looks empty. Didn't work either.

So then I tried doing it for IOS250 and it didn't work either.

Should I actually uninstall 249 (and 250) first at that slots map section?
