Hacking Homebrew Browser Error

Last days I'm having an error with the Homebrew Browser.
When I start it, it takes a while to load. Then some text appear but the browser starts too fast to read it.
Then, at the top of the screen, stands this:
DEBUG: fwrite error: [1] not owner
And then nothing happens, after a while it just goes back to the Homebrew Channel.
I even used an older version, to check the connection, and it doesn't show the update of 0.2.5a to 0.2.5b.
What's wrong?

On your SD card, is the little switch on the side in the lock position? The Home Browser has to write some info to the SD card so if it was locked you'd get errors.

I remember getting that error some time ago. The SD card I was using when I stuck it into the Wii the switch would lock the SD card so I had to "modify" so I could use it again
