Hacking homebrew apps freezing, controlling disconnecting

I am having troubles with my homebrew apps freezing upon launching them. I can't get any USB loaders to work, some just black screen when I launch them, others the screen comes up by my wii remote disconnects and the console requires a hard boot. Has anybody had this issue before?

    i just really like having a portable all-in-one device to draw on and take anywhere, i was tempted to get a Microsoft Surface but a friend of mine had a real bad experience with them
