Hardware Homebrew and Motion Plus

Hello everyone, first of all sorry for my bad english:

I recently bought a Wii version 4.1E with and old version (I think) of Homebrew Channel already installed. The problem is that all controllers I have are "new" with Motion Plus and the controllers shut down everytime I enter in the Homebrew Channel. For what I read I can update it but I need an older controller which I can't find or with WiFi inside the Homebrew but I can't do nothing with the controller.

Is there any solution?

Hello,

Try to find someone around you who will be able to give you an older generation controller to update your hack.

Or buy a cheap used Wiimote.

Why don't you mod your Wii from scratch? Ignore that old version of the Homebrew Channel and use something like ModMii:

By updating it by WiFi my controllers would work right? The problem is that I don't know anyone with older controllers, I was looking for a cheap wiimote and cost me more than the console hehe.

Or post this thread in the Wii forums and not Wii U forums since you're talking about a Wii and not vWii. You'll probably get more help

I'm going to read about that, I'm a bit lost in the Wii Scene to be honest, if I don't get an older controller I will try to mod it by myself.
