Hardware Home Screen got smaller?

Ok, so before i downgraded a while ago i had a bigger home screen, and when i downgraded to 9.2 from 10.3 it became the classic one page home screen... its hard to explain, but i'm not talking about icon sizes

This is my sisters completely unmodded 10.6 3ds

Notice how it has an arrow on the right at the smallest setting

And this is my 10.6 emunand

I have had less space on the home screen since the downgrade as you see, theres no arrow on the right


EDIT: it was because i didn't have badge arcade installed... nintendo locked me out of a useful feature unless i got its micro transaction infested app

it seems that it's only for the non-XL units. just tried it on my 10.6 n3dsXL reinand and the arrow is there. meanwhile, it's not in my n3DS gateway and 2DS rxTools both on 10.6.

One of the updates after 9.2 add extra space to the homemenu
I can remember about a year ago my 3ds suddenly had more space in the homemenu after updating

Both of them are o3ds XLs though so yer saying it could just be emunand doing it?

might be emunand, but for sure reinand is immune from this bug. both rxTools and gateway shows the symptom though.

so i would have to get reinand to get the extra space? I'm hoping i can just get reinand and keep the current emunand

i think it may have to do with how many icons you have also

btw you are not gaining more space the icons just seems smaller

they are both the 6x10
Except your sisteers 3ds and My 3DS are 6x11 as it has the arrow

Have you tried moving the icons to the rifht side?

So i got badge arcade to see if that changes things... its taking beyond AGES to load... while i'm waiting i can look at it saying RX-E 1.3.0 in the corner of the screen

i think it may have to do with how many icons you have also

I know i have more icons than her.... i have like 15 in those folders

Yes i'm sure... i did a system update like... 2 days ago, rx-e 1.3.0 is more likely the badge arcade version

That's right, the rx-e is the string that replaces de Ver. while you're on emunand and the number is the version of the game.
Also, badge arcade is slow loading so it's normal too.

You could change the CFW to see if the problem is solved... if not, you could try seeing if the problem is caused by a system's title and replacing/installing it with a cia manager, or reinject an old emunand backup if you have one.

he first picture still has a lot more space, like you can tap the arrow 3 times to reach the end, while for me i can tap once

i know, i can do that on my 3ds too and i have only 6 or so badges, that's what i'm saying
