Don't you think that an actual DS game deserves the top spot. I mean if your handhelds games are being beaten by a 14 year old port, i think you've got a problem. Chono Trigger is a great game, but in no way is it the greatest game on any console.

GTA: CW was fun for a little while but I got tired of it quickly.

Its Metacritic what do you expect, it averages reviews scores; despite the fact the value of a particular score varies depending on the review. A 9/10 from one reviewer is not the same as a 9/10 from another.

GTA CW is a fantastic game.
CT is a fantastic game.
The fact that CT is merely a port makes it even more impressive.
They are very different games, and people will prefer one always. I personally feel GTA deserves the top for being a new game, and being very fun, but mostly because it does new things on the ds.

You guys know that games like these get paid to have ads on their websites and stuff and they're supposed to make the game look good. There was a game a while back, something and Kane where the write gave it a poor review because the game fucking sucked (He gave it a 6 or something) and the company told him that he had to rewrite it and give it at LEAST an 8 or he'd be fired, he refused because it sucked, and was fired.

Here's the story: (Was Kane & Lynch) http://www.slipperybrick.com/2007/12/gamespot-editor-fired/

GTA:CW was maybe top 20 at best if this was a normal system, but since DS has so many shitty games, I'd place it in the top 10, and barely.....

Mario Kart DS, Chrono Trigger, Jump Ultimate Stars, LoZ: Phantom Hourglass, The World Ends With You, Professor Layton, Super Princess Peach, New Super Mario Bros.

All of those would make my top 10, GTA:CW might get in just because of a lack of games to make the list. Henry Hatsworth is definitely looking like it could make the list as well, although I haven't beat it yet, so it's hard to say, but it shows some promise, I'm on the third continent and it's innovate enough, and has some good replay value due to being a puzzler as well.
