No... You either need an emulator for the GBA on PC, or a Slot 2 card.
It IS a hack of one of the GBA games right?

When he said with "his r4 and ezflash", I think he meant with his R4DS, EZFlash 3-in-1 Expansion Pack, and GBAExpLoader.

Well for parts, or you could the the screen for less and not buy a used one at GameStop for $99.

Yeah, ask in the GBA or NDS flashcart section. They should help you, it's a hack anyways, not a homebrew.

If shiny gold is a GBA ROM, you can load it with GBA ExpLoader. If it's a GB ROM, you can use the lameboy emulator.

Most of the good rom hacks are GBA hacks of FIRE RED OR LEAF GREEN OR EMERALD!

the majority being FIRE RED!

to make them you need to apply the IPS patch to the rom

you should be able to play using a 3 in 1 loading them with GBA EXPLODER but you may need to also apply a battery fix with GBATA gba rom tool as all pokemon games need a REAL TIME CLOCK and afaik the 3 in 1 has problems with these roms

not all hacks work and those that do are BUGGY and GLITCHY an freeze and are generally messed up

theres loads of pokemon hacks out there

I've tried just about all of them and they all pretty much suck due to the crashes glitches etc!!

(Don't ask me where to get them YOU KNOW THE RULES!!!)

and DON'T ASK ME HOW TO MAKE OR PATCH THEM!!! theres guides out there on the net!!

shinygold, and most other pokemon gamehacks, corrupt the header of the GBA file, causing it to be rejected by official nintendo hardware(nintendoDS, gamecube, GBA)
to fix this you need to use the "header fix" tool included in gbata.

and, posting gamehacks on this forum is ok as long as it's in ips format(or other patch format)
