Hacking Hijill GUI

So with this GUI you can dump HBC.elf with the patches applied? If so, this is exactly what I've wanted so I can use the latest HBC on neek2o.

Well, if it is using my code that I posted in the HiJill thread without modifications, then it will still have the same problem as the dol dumped with pune's dumper. It will have all the patches applied, but it still gives you the scam screen when you start it. I don't think anyone has found a way to get around that (at least not publicly).

It wouldn't work through the hackmii installer (I've tried) but you could probably do it through the same method that you install v1.0.7 on an emunand. You would also have to delete IOS58 before installing it on your real NAND so it would use IOS61.

That's a clean and nice icon, but in my opinion you should add something that relates to the homebrew channel. Granted that's not an easy task when an application is called Hijill.

That should be the unofficial, if not official icon. I knew you could/would do it. Good job man.

That's a clean and nice icon, but in my opinion you should add something that relates to the homebrew channel. Granted that's not an easy task when an application is called Hijill.

It would be great to have something that is HBC related, but really, what is a good standard HBC representation?

I think that this is a great start without putting in too much critique.

If I were to have made the icon myself I would have made it look like that jack was r@ping jill...without lube.

Thanks! I spent extra time on this one. I tried different pics (guns and bullet holes) and font colors, but this turned out the best by far IMO.

That's why I ended up focussing on hijacking themes instead. Nothing looked good when I tried basing the HBC theme.

The only other thought with robbing and r@[member='ping'] is all racially driven... which does fit perfectly, but hate towards it will come with my ideas.

Not my style, but certainly a good one. There is no reason not to have more than one icon available. I made a similar one for the HBC Dumper:

Since when did people load HBC from a loader that displays icon.pngs? If you're already in such a loader, I see no real need to load HBC...

Ones for games take me longer because I try to get images from in-game to put in the icon. For example, I had to download and install software to view a 3D model of the ship when I made one for newo shooter.

It's not. It's for loading this from postLoader, the Homebrew Filter, or even the Homebrew Channel.

Aha, my bad then. But i still think it looks too similar to the HBC icon, regardless the fact they are located in different locatsion (SM vs PL/HF/HBC)
