Hacking High School Musical 3

Hi

I wonder if someone can please help, I have High School Musical 3 (Original), when i start the game through the normal way it crashes and wont work, however when i play it through backup launcher gamma 0.3 it works, does anyone know why.

Can someone tell me what i need to do
