Homebrew Hide 3ds applications for retroarch?

So retroarch can play many cores all within one app. The main problem is usually that if the other cores aren't installed on the home menu, the core that was deleted fails to load, for obvious reasons. The issue though, is retroarch has many cores, each contributing towards the 300 home screen limit. I also don't want to shove every retroarch app into a folder. Is there a way i could install an application and have it not display on the home menu, like many NAND applications?
