I'm trying to get GC adapter work with HIDTOVPAD + Loadiine, but it doesn't work properly though. Every time after applying the patch it goes back to home menu as normal.

The issue is that the WiiU refers directly to HIDTOVPAD when i wanna go to homebrew channel for selecting loadiine I dont know why this occurred and still happening.

What can be the reason for this?
I'll appreciate your effort for any suggestion.

I'm having problems with my Left analog stick on my Switch Pro Controller when i'm playing Wind Waker HD.

All buttons work fine except moving forwards (or `Up` on analog stick), and since forward movement is pretty much the most important, not being able to reach full speed is very bad.

I've tried launching HID-TEST to see if i could maybe spot the min-max values for the Y-axis but HID-TEST isn't working / updating any values despite having pid and vid set at the correct values inside the config.

I was hoping any of you might know how to fix this.

I'm using the switchpro.ini config file located on Maschell's controller patcher configs on github. (I've tried messing with some values but no luck)

After I use HID to VPAD, it works fine on my wii u, but when I try to boot into the wii (by pressing + on the wii remote) it doesn’t work. Is there a way to fix this?

That's normal, Hid to Vpad doesn't work in Wii mode and never will.

Check the nintendont thread for controller configs nintendont uses its own it doesn't use this. You could use Wii vc injector and inject it to Wii u menu and use alt controllers through nintendont.

I guess, but I was trying to just do it from within my vWii, which I figured out how to work with a bit, but I was just hoping something like this existed for wii.

And you were already told it does not exist, so I don't know the point of this additional post.

I gave you every option you could possible have if you don't like it well sorry. Call and chew out Nintendo for making the Wii and vWii the way they did. But melee is a gamecube game all gamecube games are run through NIntendont so you can complain about not liking it or follow my directions and check in that thread. You're not totally screwed like Wii games.

Is there a way to emulate wiimotes?

I love the program I use it with my ps4 and p3 controls, but I want to know if there is a way to get a wiimote emulation?

Some of you need to understand, Hid to vpad was never intended to work

-In Wii mode
-With Wiimotes

So by default the answer is no. Highly unlikely scenario you could make a config to get it to work that's the only way.

That’s a bit unfrotunate. Great having this though, play mario party 2 with my friends across the country on my wii u using parsec + the network client and it worked great.
Does there happen to be a program that’s trying to do the same thing with wii remotes? Most of my favorite party game titles use wii remotes only.

There’s a thread on here about emulating a wiimote using a GC controller, but obviously that would only work on the Wii that has GC controller sockets...

You could get a ‘Controller Pro U’ like in my avatar, which has a switch to toggle between acting as a Wii Classic Controller and as a wiimote. It’s the one that was poorly reviewed for having rough analog sticks and for not working as a Wii U Pro Controller, but that shouldn’t matter if what you want is a wiimote in the form of a more standard controller.

I'm having trouble getting my controllers to be recognized by HIDtoVPAD.

I have a wired Xbox 360 controller and when I run HIDtoVPAD and plug the 360 controller in the green light flashes but pressing 'A' does nothing.

I have 2 wireless PS3 DS3 Sixaxis controllers but when I plug them into the Wii U with the USB cord the blinking red lights immediately shut off and it does nothing when I press 'A'

I have a PS4 DS4 controller that I can connect to the Wii U via the network client, but it has bad input lag.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong with the 360/PS3 controllers?

What I want is something the wii u counts as a wii remote so I can do stuff like play nintendoland.

The Controller Pro U does show up as a wiimote. It’s actually been quite good for games like Metroid Other M and Super Paper Mario that use both the sideways mode and pointer function - I can just raise or lower the controller rather than changing grip.

That’s actually pretty cool, but I was wondering if there was something similar to HID to VPAD that could do that mainly for network play with friends to play stuff like Nintendoland. Might look into getting one though.

I'm thinking of getting a Mayflash F300 Elite Arcade Stick for the Switch/PC. The F300 Elite also works with the Xbox 360/PS3/XBone/PS4.

The stick uses XInput for the Switch and both XInput and DInput for PC.

Any chance this stick might work or is configurable with HID to VPAD?
