There's a setting within Loadiine to enable HID to VPAD. Use that instead.
I'm using Loadiine gx2 v0.3 and there's no hid-to-vpad setting in the options. I only see Pygecko and Padcon. Is there a file I'm missing that would make that show up? (also using 5.5.1)

-Removed erroneous information, sorry for the confusion-

Edit by Moderator:
Please, don't use Padcon instead of HID.
these are two different settings.
The HID-USB setting (called HID-PAD in loadiine) is ON by default in old revisions, and a setting is now Added in new revision.
Please, update your loadiine to find the HID setting in the game's menu.

Don't spread misinformation, users will relay them and lot of users will be confused and continue giving bad info to other users.

hid_to_vpad 0.2d seems to be broken, it detects my Wavebird but any button or sticks respond
Was it working in the previous releases?

Padcon is the setting you want.
No, padcon is something different. padcon allows you to turn off the gamepad screen.

HID-Pad is the option you're looking for. You have to grab one of the newest nightlies. It was added the same day hidtopad was released, but since yesterday you have to turn it on in the settings

Does this just replace the Gamepad Input ? So let's say something like MK8 with 4 GameCube controller is still impossible ?

Does anyone have a HBL icon for this?
I could give it a shot.

Edit:
How's this?

I haven't had a whole lot of time to test this, but it appears that the deadzones for the official GameCube adapter require slight adjustments. With every one of my official GCN controllers, with the sticks in neutral position, it's constantly sending a very lite 'C-up'. It's possible some games wouldn't recognize it, but if you load up a page on the internet browser for example after loading the .elf, the page will be zooming in by itself.
With all of the posts of issues with control recently, and the disabling of HID to VPAD by default in loadiine, I'm led to believe that most owners of the adapter were experiencing the same thing.

Aw thanks! I'm unsure if this is the right format, but I made myself an XML too. I don't have time to test it right now tho. Does this work?

Code:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="true"?>
-<app version="1">
<name>HID to VPAD</name>
<coder>Maschell</coder>
<version>0.2d</version>
<release_date>20160500510000</release_date>
<short_description>USB HID to gamepad input</short_description>
<long_description>Emulate Wii U gamepad input using various USB HID devices. </long_description>
</app>

I love this program, but I feel like there needs to be a way to rebind keyboard controls. They are really difficult to use in most games because I'd need like 3 hands to play.

This is on my TODO list, but i don't know when I will have the time for it!

It seems like the Wavebird is sending different values, should be a really easy fix, I just need the right value(s). I will look into it later this day

Yes I am using the official GC adapter the cstick is non functional as the right stick and ive also tried ps4 controller, both yield the same results.
About the zl button, it can never be held down, when i do, it looks like someone is constantly pressing it and and the same goes for the start button.

This is also happening to me!
I'm using Ortz® Gamecube USB Controller Adapter for Wii U & PC + FW: 5.5.1
