You guys are totally worthless for help. I know he's not giving the best info, but could you at least TRY to help instead of just having a contest to see who can be the biggest asshole?

ok i got it to work now. but how do i play the games now?? like, how do i put them onto my hard drive? what prggs do i use??
You have to format the harddrive into the WBFS format and install games using a WBFS manager. A quick search on google found this tutorial:
http://www.techsick.com/articles/how-to-ba...ader-wbfs.shtml

It's probably not the best tutorial in the world, but it should give you a place to start.

And I'm guessing by your "oh noes! the hard drive is not booting?" post you meant that the USB loader on the Wii is not reading the harddrive. That is because it's not formatted to WBFS.

WAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!!!!

virus on a wii from the internet lol that cant happen

anyways, try reinstalling your system menu. wait, why are you on 2.0????? update to 4.1!
2.0 has nothing

IOS60 is for SYSTEM MENU 4.0 and 4.1

SO UPDATE!

Umm, hate to burst your bubble, but viruses on a wii can happen, and technically it has already happened, just not in the way you see them on a computer, in Nintendo's eyes, installing homebrew channel, and all the other mods people have done to their system, is technically a virus, it is messing with their code, and is making them run in unpredictable manner.

Also, anything that has some sort of OS on it, can get a virus, once again, just not in the way a computer can. People just don't see them happening because when using a game system, or many other devices, people don't do too much for a hacker to actually create a program that does collect said information, and then steal your identity.

Just my two cents, take it or leave it, whatever pleases you.

1) Connect to the internet.
2) Follow one of the many guides to update to 4.1 and to get USB loading working. This only takes about 30mins maximum!
3) You have a quite old Wii if on 2.0 that means you can install bootmii (for brick protection

you call apps like HBC and snes9xgx viruses??
these are wonderful creations made by dedicated programmers.
and at the end of the day, i bet you use all these "viruses" to your advantage right?
i leave your 2 cents.
