Hi.
First post here, I don't know if its ok to write here, if not, please let me know.
I'm translating Fatal frame V to spanish and I have a big issue.
There are text that doesn't show on screen.

As it shows on the screenshots, there are a lot of text missing. I use msbt editor but even if I put a french text file, Still missing.
How can I put longer text?
Sorry for inconvenience

Various reasons for text not appearing.

Usual ones are
1) Your characters are not recognised/in the font. For Spanish and non English this is usually when people try to use accents and other characters not seen in English.
2) You did not sort the pointers and it is using the positions of words/lines of the original game. Game's don't work like browsers/document editors and usually are told where each and every piece of text is, and often even when to start a new line. I usually use an analogy of like a contents page in the book -- add a bunch of pages in the middle of a book and now the index/contents will be out of line with reality.
3) Screen space has a hard limit somewhere. Does not look to be the case here but it could still be.

Choices then are identify which of those it is, or shorten your translation such that it still fits in.

Thanks a lot for your reply.
The spanish letters are solved, I've been able to modify the font.
I think is the option 2. I can't find the pointers, because even if I replace an specific file with the fr versión on the jap game, some characters still missing. So I think that pointers are not on the text folder, am I right?
I'll keep translating until I find a solution, this is the last piece to get a good translation.

I can't shorten in cutscenes because there is a really small number of characters on some scenes and the script is quite long, on kanji can be everything shortened :(

Thank you mate!
