I don't know what I was thinking a few months ago, but I hard reset my 2DS XL and deleted everything from the SD card which had all my CFW apps like godmode9 and Luma and much more.

Now I am trying to get my 2DS XL to run Homebrew again, but I don't know what to do. I have tried reinstalling homebrew through Pichaxxx, but that always leads to a red screen and returning to the Homebrew launcher. I've tried to uninstall the custom firmware through guides, but that requires GodMode9, so I don't know what to do now.

Is there any way out of this mess?

Slow but sure this is starting to give me physical pain. I don't understand why so many people do this "Let's delete everything!"

Don't uninstall CFW if you still have it. Try holding (Select) on power on to see if Luma settings appear. Uninstalling CFW will do nothing good.

What you need is latest Luma3DS on your SD as well as the Homebrew Launcher (boot.firm and boot.3dsx)
https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases

Then repeat https://3ds.hacks.guide/finalizing-setup to get everything installed again. All essential downloads are mentioned on that page.

Good luck and have fun!
