Gaming Hepl with weird RAR. rom

Hey I was downloading a rom when I found out it was a rar file do i have to convert it or something?

A RAR is a compressed archive, like a zip file. Get 7-Zip and extract it.

There are 10 files inside the rar, do I have to put them in a folder and rename the folder game.nds?

Just extract the .zip/.rar file, open the folder then highlight all "zipped" folders and extract, and presto! There's your rom.

Files in these archives are compressed, meaning they are of a smaller size and therefore require a shorter time to download. Also, putting many files into just one archive file simplifies the downloading/uploading process.

I mean c'mon. Would you prefer to download 10 individual files of 5MB each or one file of 50MB?

And my explanation was that they use rar files with more rar files so it's harder for "beginners" to download roms.
