Hacking Henkaku Save Editing Thread

It would be great if we could find a way to at least change the year on the clock in a sense giving you 'infinite' time.
 
I need help...i can't get my game to boot (physical cart) after I extract the save data, all it does is keep giving me the message PLEASE INSERT THE GAME CART and the only way i can boot it is i delete the game, but that also deletes my saves.

what i've tried was delete the modified patch folder (with moleculeshell items).

Well now that I know you need my Borderlands 2 save, I will give it to you but it will take awhile as I am resting from some stuff.

I got Borderlands 2 at Target for Vita for 12 dollars like a year ago, couldn't pass that up, when I send the file, I'll ask what I want, thank you for your help.

when you do this, if anyone has the time to help you - give more than 1 save. for example, 1 save with your money at 6000, and another at 6020, then we can easily change your money.
if you just give us one save and tell us your money is 6000, we can't help.
 
Came across a few things regarding Freedom Wars.
It seems that the corrupt save error only comes up when editing user_data. I tried changing my name and a few other values and it resulted in an error, so it isn't just money. The game must keep some sort of oncard/ram/etc checksum to compare the integrity of the save.

I'm thinking that may be the checksum generated each time the game saves, making tampering with the saves (pretty much) impossible until it's figured out how the checksum is generated.

Thanks for all your hard work, @Sabishinbo :) Really appreciate it. Here's hoping that something can be done about that evil checksum soon. One of these days man, we just gotta keep trying :)

man this thread dead quick
i have been working on a atelier meruru editor, i thought it was finished - but i had trouble/confusion with item editing, some saves had 'illegal' item ids...
@djricekcn has provided the saves and done some testing, i don't even have the game :D
but yeah, it's not finished yet, everything is ok apart from items
