Not native speaker. Do it causes problems when reading DVD how could I Remove it?

Pimp my wii says I have it, My wii fails at reading discs. It worked perfectly before. I suspect that is trucha bug.

It's probably not that, these patches/bugs are sometimes installed by tools like pimp my wii or cioscorp or DarkCorp to allow older wii's to play backup (and original) discs from the disc channel. These changes are largely discouraged by the wii hacking scene members because it can interfere with other things and there are other ways to accomplish the same thing.

If you didn't make any changes to your wii mods, and your wii all of a sudden stopped loading discs that worked before, it's most likely due to hardware failure of your disc drive (but don't worry too much, usb loading should/might still work)

If it's just one or two new discs that don't load, you may be missing required IOSs (not all games use the same ios by default)

I suggest you don't use pimp my wii, and instead use modmii... this is of course debatable but it's the shared view of most people at gbatemp. That being said, language might be a barrier for you making it more difficult.

I further suggest that you run a Syscheck as described in the link below (instead of using pimp my wii) and share the output with us.

I have made syscheck reports, I had like ios36 with the patch and Other. But now i'm not sure this be due to Ios software since Cios Also have it. And Also before this started happening The wii could recognize The disc but during The play The reader started doing a noise a lot of times until I got a black error screen. They Also freezed or showed The screen without doing The noise. And I reinstall every authorized Ios patchless and keeped happening! Also I used The wiimfi Patches for discs when it worked.

Hello,

your cios 249 is on an old version of cios d2x, please reinstall your cios correctly by following this guide ==>https://wii.guide/cios

or using Modmii from Xflak ==>https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/

With Modmii, insert your syscheck report, and Modlmii will tell you what to update

Then test again.

IOS249 has nothing to do with disc loading (unless the priiloader hack to force the disc channel to use IOS249 is enabled). That being said, I think using modmii's syscheck updater wizard may help. I don't have all the latest version #s memorized but I don't recall so many having version 1032, 3067 and 3608. If you load the syscheck with modmii it will identify if anything is amiss.

I have a wii u which I dont use, my discs work there. I will import My wii saves to The vwii via savegamemanager gx.

Is there a way to restore a wii nand Backup into a vwii?
