i have a ps3 with 3.41
i have the latest multiman
what do i need to do to get games with files larger than 4gb onto my internal hdd?
split4g?

whats the best ftp client to use?

where in there does it say how to split a file 4g and larger?

and i have flashfxp so thanks for nothing. i was asking what the best one to use is... maybe flashfxp isnt the best.

Use ps3splitter to split the files over 4 gb

You don't have to worry about the 4GB limit for the internal drive, only external drives since they are fat32.

This. I thought this was common knowledge? Internal HDD can take files of any size, it's only external drives that need files to be split into

Thank you very much, if i need to split files, i will use ps3splitter, and i thought the internal was fat32 aswell, good to know its not, ive been modding consoles for a very long time, i just started to scratch the surface on ps3 mods tho, so my knowledge of the console is very limited.

is flashfxp the best to use?

also i have the latest multiman and hermes v4. is this the best payload and manager for me ? i have a non working blu ray drive.

right, so did you read the posts above? same thing that is in THE SAME post i directed you to.

not being smartass, just saying everything that is mostly basic is in the stickies. Plus, any FTP client works, there is no such thing as a 'BEST' one. common knowledge.

Ok...anyways.
I recommend using the latest Gaia Manager. It has a very good built in FTP.
I recommend FileZilla for PC. You do not need anything special to transfer 4gb files to the internal hhd.

Multiman also has a FTP built in.
