If I have a hard drive which is formatted to WBFS, can I add a fat32 partiton to it. (I.e. shrink the wbfs and then add the fat 32). Or will I need to transfer the data off it, and start again?

Thanks for any advice.

After more research it seems that it can not be done! Oh well :)

Yes you can, just do it like shrinking and adding a normal partition.

Where did you get your info from? Please read my answer.

Anon is wrong
there is no tool to resize a WBFS partition

but you could convert the whole partition into a fat32 one in a matter of seconds (see sig)
