So, recently I tried ripping the Audio from Guitar Rock Tour. I used Tinke to extract the Audio files, and even though they all have a .bar file extension, opening them in a hex editor, reveals that these are indeed SWAV files.
My question is, how can I convert these to .wav? I've tried opening them as raw files in Audacity with a rate of 22050, but the result was not really good, it sounded way worse than the speaker of the DS.
Could anyone help with that?

I think it is a coincidence. I have met audio files on the DS with the BAR extension before and they were not the same as SWAV that we commonly see in SDAT.

I should also note that you might have to try multiple settings in audacity -- it is not the sort of thing you get kind of close to and it sounds a little better (think tuning a radio) but something of an all or nothing affair.
