hey guys, i need some help.
i updated to retro's newest release but golden sun dark dawn (u) is giving me a white screen when booted through ysmenu...
it works using the ttmenu but retro's list says its supposed to work in both.
does anyone know whats wrong?
i'm using a real dstt

I ended up just deleting all the system menu related stuff off my sd card (including ysmenu and ttmenu folders).
then i just put the files from the new dstt 1.18 firmware on my card and it works now.

the new firmware is kind of weird though, as it has ysmenu but it hides it.
it puts all the ysmenu stuff in the ttmenu folder instead of a ysmenu folder...
also, it boots to the ttmenu which is annoying. the ttmenu.nds file in the ttds folder is the ysmenu.
you can just put it in the root of your card and rename it to TTMenu.dat and it will boot to ysmenu again.

ok it works but when it goes from the game card is being initalized screen to a black screen. Any idea why?

getting the game to run isnt the problem its getting past the black screen after "game card is being initialized"

shinestar. are you booting from ysmenu or TTDS menu?

edit: NVM doesnt seem to matter for me it still doesnt work GRAAAAAH
