Hacking Help with Ex4i on 3DS 2.1

Hey i have allready asked this question on these forums but no-one answered
i have an Ex4i and its got the latest official updates (from the official website) and they still havnt released an update for 3DS firmware version 2.1
i have a ds lite to update with and i know how to do it all but i was wondering if there was any unofficial updates that work ?
any unofficial updates for the Ex4i that will update it to work on a 3DS updated to 2.1 ?

that really sucks because the L and R buttons on my ds lite are screwed and rarely work (i have to press them lots and hard to get them to work)
so i can't play many of the good games i want to atm

off topic but spray a can of compressed air in the L and R buttons i wouldn't blow with your mouth as moisture could damage it.
