Help With Emulating 2-disk games!!

Specifically, I am playing Dragon Warrior 7. I have both files, but it does not let me switch to disk 2. So I have about 80 hours in and I am stuck.

I am using an Anbernic, which runs Retroarch if that helps anyone.

What would like to do is either find a way to switch to Disc 2...the files are named differently....or find a way to convert everything into a single file so it will just play through and I need some serious help.

This is the second time I am getting screwed by this problem - the first time, I had a PBP file, just one, so, presumably disk 1 only and did not know.

So I got .bin/cue files for Disc 1 and Disc 2 - I took off the (Disc 1) off Disc 1 file name.
So, I figure if later I change them so that Disc 1 now has (Disc 1) and Disc 2 now is plain, it should work...right?? WRING!!

I need to find a way to switch between discs, or better yet, combine the two files into a single file while saving my game-save data. I already copied what I have into my desktop so I can go back if something messes up. But I have no idea where to begin to accomplush this so that I can get into Disc 2 on my Anbernic. I just beat up Orgodemir and now I am screwed. Help me, please!!!

Solved my own problem using disc control options in configuration. The trick is to NOT save after beating Orgodemir, then, use disc control to change discs, then save at first chance.

Now, both my save files are there, but the one before Orgodemir asks for disc 1 and the one after asks for disc 2. So now, I can continue my adventure, YAHOOOOOOO!!!!
