Homebrew Help with DDD

Hello I am attempting to dump my Smash Bros disc so that I may start modding, however it keeps getting frozen at about 923,823 or some such and just staying there, I have updated DDD and the dumping tool on my PC and have even turned off my Firewall, is there anything I can do to make this work, or would downloading a dump off the internet work?

If your dumping it, it wouldn't be any different getting it off the internet. I say why not.

Ok so what I did to get a legit dump, for anyone who is reading this, I simply downloaded an iso/nus or whatever of the game, extracted it's contents using UWizard [Google is your friend] put the extracted dt00 in the content folder of my dump, and did it again, it worked perfectly for me and I finally have a dump.
